Who Am I? My name is Saverio Giuseppe Filippis `S.G` for short. My first name has been mispronounced so many ways I can`t recall,  I’ve been called the name of a country before on several occasions... “Sarajevo”! I was born in Edmonton AB, Canada; spent a large of portion of my childhood in Italy.    Why I Feel The Need To Blog? My love and obsession for taxation, finance and world economics is insatiable! I am driven to discover how it all works beyond what the books and theory have taught me. The original true believer in the essence of `CANI`, Constant and Never Ending Improvement. What Can I Offer? I have been an accounting professional for 12+ years and have seen it and done it all from accounts receivable / payable clerk to high level financial analysis/reporting and financial controller of corporations. I choose to believe in the power of technology being an immense resource and the ability to assist us. In many parts of this blog, I will be incorporating my business analyst hat, because I have served in that role many of times as well.
